SOVEREIGN COLLABORATIVE SUITE FOR THE EU
To make collaboration easier within European Defence Fund (EDF) projects and ensure the highest level of data protection in Europe, the European Commission has decided to pilot Thales’ secure collaborative suite, TrustNest R-Suite, for a year. This solution offers an environment that meets security requirements for EU Restricted (R-UE/EU-R) information classification for document exchange and storage, phone calls, video conferencing, and managing collaborative workspaces, provided it’s connected to an approved EU RESTRICTED network.
As part of this pilot project, a key milestone has just been reached: the EU Restricted (R-UE/EU-R) accreditation has been granted by the European Commission and ANSSI for the interconnection between R-Cloud and the Commission’s R-UE/EU-R network.
Should we ask if the data related to this APP will be hosted on a really sovereign Cloud ?
