CDC GROUP ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE DIGITAL RESILIENCE INDEX
In a recent interview, Arnaud Martin, Head of Operations Risks Management, comments in the method that was followed in the CFC Group. Among others, he mentions the issue of evaluating third party suppliers ‘ contribution :
This index is fairly balanced. However, we encountered some difficulties regarding the supply chain resilience dimension, which measures the level of dependence on suppliers. It is sometimes challenging to gather the necessary information for suppliers beyond tier 1. We are also in discussions with the ADRI (French Agency for Industrial Regulation) regarding the implementation of weightings in the ratings linked to the sector of activity. And for good reason. In the banking sector, for example, data and AI sovereignty is a very important criterion. In a retail company with operations worldwide, it is less so.
