Capgemini and TEHTRIS collaborate to strengthen cybersecurity for French businesses and public organizations

Paris, June 17, 2021

Capgemini announces the signing of a partnership agreement with TEHTRIS, a French cybersecurity solutions provider, to strengthen the IT security of public organizations and businesses by providing a sovereign solution at the forefront of cybersecurity innovation. This partnership represents a tailored response to the cybersecurity needs of French players, as identified in the national cybersecurity strategy1 recently presented by the government.

The number of cyberattacks has been increasing since the beginning of the health crisis: the ANSSI indicates that it will have dealt with four times more ransomware attacks2 between 2019 and 2023. Telecommuting makes companies and public services more vulnerable to cyberattacks, employees’ workstations are exposed outside the protected perimeter of the company, and good security practices are undermined by distance.

To address this increase in cyberattacks, the TEHTRIS and cybersecurity teams of Capgemini and Sogeti, a Capgemini Group brand, are launching an accessible and easily deployable attack detection and automated response offering based on the latest technological advances. The offering is particularly suited to protect against ransomware attacks that are spreading against businesses and organizations of all sizes. Government agencies and medium-sized companies are prime targets for attackers, even though they often have limited financial and human resources to deal with them, and today’s attacks require an immediate response capability.

The two partners are therefore jointly offering a set of tools and features designed to detect and block the most sophisticated malicious activities. This 24/7 monitoring offer is characterized by its ease and speed of deployment thanks to the innovative attack detection solution, eXtended Detection and Response (XDR) of the French editor combined with the analysis and remediation services of the Capgemini Group’s specialized cybersecurity teams in France.

Key features include:

  • Real-time automatic detection and neutralization of advanced or unknown threats, using artificial intelligence and autonomous bots. Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) agents provide instantaneous response to threats to endpoints and Ransomware is malicious software that blocks access to computers or files by encrypting them and demanding that the victim pay a ransom to regain access: servers, while SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) ensures the correlation of all security correlates all the security events of the Information System.
  • Access to a supervision and detection service based on the recognized experience of
Capgemini’s recognized experience (qualified by ANSSI as a Security Incident Detection Provider) in Cyber Defense Center (CDC)4.

“We are delighted to work with the Capgemini and Sogeti teams on a daily basis. Thanks to their professionalism and availability, our clients benefit from a high quality service. TEHTRIS has developed an open and modular platform, TEHTRIS XDR Platform, which is compatible with the security solutions on the market, and which allows to detect and respond to the most elaborate cyber attacks. This is a guarantee of trust and European sovereignty for our common customers. We share with Capgemini and Sogeti teams the same priority: to ensure a smooth and directly operational deployment of TEHTRIS products and monitoring of fleets,” said Eléna Poincet, Co-founder and CEO of TEHTRIS.

The collaboration between Capgemini and TEHTRIS began in 2020 and quickly proved to be extremely rich and dynamic. Already the operator of numerous Cyber Defense Centers for major clients, and qualified as a Security Incident Detection Service Provider (SIDP) by the ANSSI5, we are thus strongly accelerating the growth of our managed incident detection and response services. TEHTRIS’ innovative and rapidly deployed technologies provide effective protection for both large and small businesses and government agencies,” said Mathieu Morel, director of the Cybersecurity division at Sogeti. “We are all the more delighted with this partnership as it allows us to support French innovation by partnering with one of the most advanced French companies in cybersecurity.
