Quantum Leaps in Delft, AI Scaling with CDC, and CYSAT Space Cyber Summit

AI

CDC GROUP WILL RELY ON SOPRA STERIA TO DEPLOY GEN AND AGENTIC AI

The two companies have signed a global agreement for a period of 4 years. Besides infrastructure and orchestration, the project includes applications such as : advanced search, specific agents for security, HR, or procurement, contract analysis … This will rely on different AI providers among which MISTRAL AI.

SPACETECH: CYSAT COMING SOON

On May 20-21, CYSAT comas back to PARIS STATION F. CYSAT is the largest event dedicated to cybersecurity in space. The program revolves around six key issues: cyber threats in space, defense and sovereignty, quantum resilience, 5G/6G connectivity, AI and cyber defense, and space regulations and laws.

QUANTUM COMPUTING

As the day of the French-German dialogue on Quantum Computing is looming (May 12), we get also good news from the Netherlands:

GROOVE QUANTUM: Groove’s journey hits a major peak. Only two years after officially founding the company, they are unveiling the largest semiconductor spin-qubit processor to date: 18 qubits. Says Anne-Marie Zwerver, founder and CEO :” With our full-stack vision in mind, we didn’t just build for size; we focused on making both the processor and the operation protocols inherently scalable (find the link to our ArXiv pre-publication in the comments). To take the next steps, I’m happy to announce that Groove has closed a €16M Seed round. This capital will allow us to take the next steps in scaling: both our systems and our company.

In parallel, a few days after QUANTWARE announced the largest quantum investment round in Dutch history (€152 million Series B), INNOVATION QUARTER, an investment fund announces an investment in FROSTBYTE (€1.3 million). The Delft-based startup develops cryoelectronics that brings the control infrastructure closer to the quantum processor, thus laying the foundations for the next generation of scalable quantum systems.

And finally, let’s quote QUANTUM DELTA NL, the Dutch national initiative driving the development of a world-class quantum technology ecosystem in the Netherlands. Researchers, startups, industry leaders, and policymakers join forces around a shared goal: to turn cutting-edge quantum science into solutions that benefit society, the economy, and the world at large.   These stakeholders are often associated to other European counterparts in research programs benefiting the whole community.
