On June 2, at 5:00 PM, the European Champions Alliance hosted a dynamic and highly collaborative Member Meeting designed to bridge the gap between our long-standing community and our newest cohort of innovators. Over the last five months, the ECA has welcomed eight new startups into the fold: a surge in growth driven largely by the massive traction and market response to the 2026 European Cybersecurity Mapping.
The primary objective of the evening was simple yet strategic: introduce these rising European stars, spark a lively cross-border dialogue, identifying areas of possible cooperation and explore mutual synergies across critical domains like AI Security, OT Security, and Threat Management. Long-standing members and newcomers wasted no time diving into technical and strategic exchanges, establishing vital connections that will shape our collective approach to European digital sovereignty.
Meet Our Newest Members:
The event featured spotlight presentations from six of our new members, showcasing the rich geographic and technical diversity of the expanding ECA ecosystem:
Corma | Nikolai Fomm, Co-Founder & COO
Representing a powerful French-German footprint, Corma specializes in cyber governance. Operating in a highly specialized market with limited direct competition, they are poised to help European enterprises streamline their compliance and governance frameworks across borders.
Guardian360 | Jan Martijn Broekhof, General Manager
Hailing from the Netherlands, Guardian360 brings robust threat and vulnerability management solutions tailored specifically to the needs of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Their focus is on making high-tier security accessible to the backbone of the European economy.
Enginsight | Lutz Wiechmann, International Senior Sales Expert
Based in Germany, Enginsight shares a similar strategic positioning in the market, offering comprehensive security insights and infrastructure monitoring. Their presentation sparked great interest in how we can align threat management solutions across different European regions.
Filtar.ai | Herve Le Jouan, Co-Founder & CEO
Tackling one of the most critical topics of 2026, this French startup focuses on AI Security. Filtar.ai is designed to detect compromises and anomalies within AI systems before they can cause operational or financial harm to an organisation.
OT-secure | Jeffrey Poldervaart, Founder & CEO
Operational Technology (OT) remains a massive vulnerability for industrial Europe. OT-secure steps into this gap by providing specialized OT management and security solutions, ensuring that critical infrastructure and manufacturing lines remain resilient against cyber threats.
Nucleon Security | Anas Chanaa, Co-Founder & CEO
Based in France, Nucleon Security leverages AI-aided threat management to protect corporate networks. Beyond their European operations, they are also strategically targeting and expanding into the African market, expanding the footprint of European cyber expertise.
Deep-Dive: The “Teaming Up” Focus Groups
The meeting wasn’t just about introductions; it quickly evolved into a strategic working session to advance the core pillars of our “Teaming Up for Europe” initiative:
- OT Security: Recognizing the immediate threat to industrial networks, a dedicated group of corporations is being established to identify and align on a minimum common set of security requirements for European industry.
- AI for Security & Secure AI: The room agreed on the urgent need to prepare a unified European response to the impact of AI, particularly on the industrial sector. Looking forward, the ECA will continue building momentum around Secure AI, eyeing a potential collaboration with the InCyber Forum.
- Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC): The quantum landscape is moving rapidly, fueled by recent French-German bilateral agreements and a wave of technical, business, and financial announcements. The discussion focused on how the ECA can best deploy its governance and resources to help organizations smoothly transition to quantum-resistant standards.
The ECA ecosystem is moving fast, and we already have our sights set on major upcoming milestones where this dialogue will continue face-to-face.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated, to Dominique Tessier for animating the discussions, and to our new members for their inspiring pitches. Let’s keep the momentum going!
