FRANCE DRIVES A PART OF THE INSURERS’ RESERVE FUNDS TO SUSTAIN INNOVATION
The “Tibi” initiative a plan launched in 2019 that mobilizes institutional investor savings to finance technology companies is entering its third phase with €13 billion already secured. The program now has a clear priority: to dedicate 50% of investments to deep tech, against a backdrop of increasing importance related to AI, defense, and strategic infrastructure. Yet to see the real impact, as insurers have often been criticized for focusing the money on established actors.
WILL 6G COMMUNICATION BE BASED ON SEMANTIC ?
Orange and the CEA have decided to join forces to develop semantic communication (rather than purely bits-based) for coming 6G networks. Among others it will fluidify exchanges between AI agents, and between industrial sensors and computing nodes.
