AI FRENCH ACCELERATOR
To reduce dependency on US systems, the French company Vsora develops an accelerator for artificial intelligence model inference. It is preparing to test it in real-world operating conditions in Scaleway’s data centers.
MISTRAL AI HELPS SINGAPORE DÉFENSE
After a first contract signed in 2025, MISTRAL has been chosen to support the Singapore Defense Science and Technology Agency in developing AI dedicated agents and in improving drones autonomous riding.
QUANTUM COMPUTING AND COMMUNICATION
USA PRESIDENT SIGNS TWO EXECUTIVE ORDERS TO SPEED UP QUANTUM COMPUTING DEVELOPMENT AND TRANSITION TO QUANTUM -RESISTANT COMMUNICATION
On June 23, the US President signed an executive order to accelerate the development of quantum computers in an effort to supercharge scientific discoveries
Trump also signed a second executive order on Monday which seeks to protect government computers against quantum computer-fueled cyber attacks.
The order sets a goal of migrating key government computing systems to post-quantum `cryptography (PQC) by 2030 or 2031.
QUANDELA CONNECTS PHOTONICS QUBITS SYSTEM TO HIGH PERFORMANCE CLASSICAL GPUs
Quandela, a French start up, announces it has validated a low-latency path to integrate photonic QPUs with NVIDIA accelerated computing infrastructure, using NVIDIA NVQLink.
« At ISC High Performance 2026, we’ll be presenting the results showing how photonic quantum processors can be connected more directly to GPU-driven HPC and AI infrastructure, marking a step toward accelerator-style quantum integration in high-performance computing environments.
Today, most quantum processors are accessed through APIs, queues and orchestration layers. This model remains useful for experimentation, but it introduces latency that can limit workflows requiring fast interaction between GPUs and QPUs.
This validation points to a different deployment model: one where photonic quantum processors can move closer to the HPC accelerator stack ».
